Thank you for visiting my site.
I love everything about caned furniture. The painstaking craftsmanship of the original caner, the artistic skill, the history. When I restore a plantation chair for example, I imagine the first owners, sitting under the shade of a colonial porch in the Caribbean, surveying their plantation and sipping sundowners. I treat each piece with the same care as did the artisan who first wove the chair.
Every piece of furniture is restored with the same love and care as the original artisan..........
